| Y'know, something comes to mind that concerns the whole concept of "powerful" when it comes to Jedi and Dark Jedi/Sith. Do we go by how strong they seem with the Force, or the ease with which they wield their power, or a combination of both? Afterall, Anakin (Skywalker) certainly had the potential to be the most powerful Jedi/Sith ever known, yet he lacked the experience and knowledge that other Jedi/Sith had gained through time and use. Palpatine was able to "throw then entire Senate" at Yoda with apparant ease, yet Yoda appeared to have difficulty catching and throwing back only one of those Senatorial booths. However, in contrast to that, he certainly was able to destroy two Seperatist Landing Craft with the Force without "breaking a sweat". |

The reason I didn't say that Sidious was the strongest is because I thought this thread was about Jedi, and not Sith. Yoda always seems to have trouble lifting large objects. Anakin wasn't experienced enough, and eventually that was how he was crippled so badly.

All he would have to do is dislodge them and give them a little guidance, but yoda would have to stop the forward momentum, then turn it back at Sideous going against gravity...

| Using dracon's ideas: (I'll also use Sith )physical prowess: Tie of Vader, Luke, and those giant people in Dark Forces with the Lightsaber staff thing... magical/Force power: Don't really know that many. mastery of the healing arts: Darth Sion. If he wasn't killed by the Exile, then he'd still be around mastery of the lightsaber: Tie between Windu and Vader, as Vader killed off many Jedi, and since he can't use the force very well because of his prosthetics, he has to use his saber. And everyone knows why Windy mastery of diplomacy: Sidious/Palpetine. 'Nuff Said

![]() You choose Darth "Sleeps with Vibroblades" for prowess with healing except for being killed by the Exile. That is an oxymoron. ![]() Mastery of the lightsaber is contestable. However, Tulak Horde, Exar Kun, Darth Bane, Jedi Masters Rastka, Yoda and Mace Windu were probably the greateast wielders of the lightsaber in all of time, that we know of. Remember, Anakin could only fight Kenobi to a stand off. Once he lost his physical limbs and had them replace with cybernetics, his fighting style changed dramatically. Oh, he was stil very formidable with the lightsaber, don't get me wrong, but he was nothing close to what he had been before he was quartered by Kenobi. ![]() Once Skywalker became Vader, it wasn't so much that Vader was able to defeat the exiled Jedi, he wasn't alone in hunting them down during the Purge. Remember, Sidious had a cadre of Emperor's Hands and Emperor's Wills to flush out or hunt down the remaining Jedi. It probably was Vader that did most of the killing, sure, but I'm sure that he would have had a personal detachment from the 501st Legion as his personal body guard go with him, as his suit and prosthetics did limit his capabilities. Better to have blaster wielding back up than to have to totally rely on ones' robotic parts.

| I definatley think Anakin is the most powerful jedi.Come on,he is the chosen one afterall.Yes i know the fool made a mistake but dont we all???Even though during those mistakes we dont kill millions of people but ahwell,he redeemed himself in the end and I definatley think if he didnt join the Sith he would have destroyed them! |

| I think Obi-Wan is the best, he killed Grievous, Darth Maul, and pretty much killed Anakin. Yoda killed no one, Mace killed Jango Fett (Not much of a challange). |
