palpatine was annoying. it was bad enough that in it took till ep.6 to kill him. ever heard his death scream in star wars eaw foc. god it's annoying. anyways when it was pretty said that mace windu (samuel l. jackson) didnt save us from his annoying rants back in ep.3

Stab in the back? An ally? You underestimate Mace Windu greatly! He did not trust Anakin. Only, the fact that he gave the name of the sith lord has obligated him to don't put Ani under "protection". But he knew for sure that Anakin was a danger.

And how does Vader being so badass have anything to do with his skills in combat? This thread reflects not only the thoughts of what these people have said, but also possibly what everyone else thinks as well. More people voted Revan than Vader. To be honest, I didn't vote at all because I believe they're evenly matched. If the two of them were ever in a tactical battle involving fleets of warships, Revan would win. That is just fact. Vader simply has practically no experience as a military commander. But as for skills with a lightsaber, I really don't know who would win. Vader would be extremely powerful if he wasn't crippled, which is the situation I liked to put them in in the first place.

Also, if you're talking in terms of BADASSness, crippled Vader wears black cybernetic armor, and a big-ass life support system on his chest that might as well say "SHOOT ME HERE". Uncrippled Vader would most likely simply had a black robe and tunic. Revan comes with all of it: Awesome cape, cool robes, the hood just looks awesome, and the mask, need I say more?
Revan is badass. Vader is also definitely badass, I'll admit, but Revan is more.

Geez, is it possible to read the first post of the topic? Perhaps only the previous one. It has clearly been said that this poll was comparing Revan (if he'd survived the 4 000 years and is still top shape) and Vader UNCORRUPTED and NOT WEAKENED by any life support armor. And he IS very powerful. You say he's weak? But in the end, he defeated Windu, scared Yoda(who went into exile), defeated plenty of Jedi(not only children, but also full grown Jedi, uh, JCarter!), defeated Darth Maul's clone, defeated any opponent that has opposed him(except his son), including Xizor, who was very powerful too. Oh, and just think about how easely he defeated Dooku in Ep III. And he was not even at his best. So stop to tell stupid things as he's weak and sissy. Vader is THE most hated person in the galaxy, and it ain't for nothin'.
