didnt jolie say he fought in that....or was that exarcoon? meh and your point about the carrying capacity? if the fighter is compellable to it then obviously it could fit in it to and besides whats the point of a fighter with hyperspace any way reven would just send a leviathan class ship to deploy hundreds of them

It's not exarcoon, it's Exar Kun.

When did I mention anything to do with carrying capacity? I didn't.

Well that's simple. So a fighter can operate over longer ranges than a fighter without one.
A fleet that carries fighters that are hyperdrive equipped has a distinct advantage over a fleet that does not.
Which is why the Rebel Alliance was able to conduct successful geurilla tactics against the Empire.

There was no Leviathan class ship.
The Leviathon was Admiral Karath's ship.

It didn't create droid fighters, it created fighters that were piloted into battle by pilots of the Sith Empire.
That's why they had cockpits.

The Ebon Hawk's size is roughly the same as that of a YT-1300.
(Kinda the whole point of it, so it can be more easily identified with the Millenium Falcon which is perhaps the most recognisable and iconic ship of Star Wars. Ever.)
However, it would be less effective in battle than the Falcon was.
Not as fast or agile as a fighter, and only had an upper turret.
The cannons at the sides were forward facing.
It (like the Falcon aswell) was not a warship, but a smuggler ship, and was not equipped to engage as part of a large fleet action.

The opening of TSL shows what happens when it's outgunned......

Not burned, just horribly deformed by his own Sith Lightning deflected back at him by Windu's Lightsaber.
Which meant he had taken a considerable amount of physical damage.
