Darth Revan versus Darth Vader

Bah...Chosen One.

What has Vader actually done? Lost to one Sith (the apprentice, at that), but did eventually manage to kill him (goody for him). Lost to his master, who wasn't the Chosen One, but just a good and experienced Jedi (and he lost in the rematch, as well). Sent his apprentice to kill all the Jedi for him (according to Force Unleashed). Beat up his girlfriend. Beat up his son (but lost later). Pushed an old man off a ledge. Oh, and he choked a lot of people.

Just because he's the Chosen One doesn't mean he's all-powerful. He just happened to be the one destined to destroy the Sith. Anyone could do that, really.

Now, there is the issue with all those damn midichlorians (though I prefer to live in a world where they don't exist). He had "over twenty thousand" of them, whatever the hell they are. That just means he has the potential to be 'the most powerful Jedi ever'. Doesn't mean he is. Judging from his work, far from it.

Also, the ancient Sith (in Revan's time) were said to make the Sith (of Revan's time) look like mere children. I'm going to bet that the same is true in respect to KOTOR-era vs. the movie era. The Jedi of the Old Republic even knew about Force Ghosts (and so did the Sith).

Revan would win. Revan's a better fighter, with stronger will. Revan also has more powers. Vader's older, too, so Revan would have an advantage there.

Anybody have anything to say about the Sith fleets? Who would win? Vader's fleet or Revan's fleet? Star Forge or Death Star?

I'm sure the Star Forge would win as it does have infinite resources, it would win purely by spamming fighters.

But in a one on one. Vader would dominate.

I like Revan 100x more than Vader, largely due to Anakin being such a huge bitch.

im going to have to go with Revan. he was always one of the best saber duelist out there, proficient in many styles including duel. Also his mastery of the force is frighting. Sidiouses force lighting has nothing on Revans force storm

Both would win. But in different aspects. Revan would be death long before he could even think about Vader. But admitedly he wasn't, his Sith fleet, even if infinite, would easily be crushed by the imperial fleet, wich is MUCH more modern and has 4 000 years of technological advance. Now one thing: Thrawn could win to revan, with the imperial fleet. Palpatine would probably too, with his battle meditation. However, Vader? Remember how he jumped to GET IN the fight, in ANH? He is no strategist. Therefore, Revan would wipe him out. And the Death Star? Don't be kidding, the death star aint a combat station: its a political tool. Its purpose is to terrify the population.

However, a single dual between Revan and Vader? Vader definately own Revan, machine or no. His apprentice may have killed a couple jedi. But don't forget why in star wars, the most hated Skywalker WAS Anakin. Because he killed MOST of the jedi. He tracked them, destroyed them. He even killed Maul's clone. Remember who killed the Emperor? Vader again. No, Revan WOULD be killed.

Both can use a force storm . . . and JCarter, Vader did track down and butcher most of the Jedi . . Revan acquired a huge population of fanboys ever since KOTOR.

but see Revan wasn't short sighted enough to just wipe out the jedi. he turned hundreds of them and thus increasing his army and if he couldn't turn them he would kill them. Also in Revans time jedi and sith numbered in the hundreds where in vaders time they were in the dozens a lot less to track down hmm, think how many jedi Reven killed in the jedi sith civil war.

And theres no way he would lose in a tactical battle. Revan was an unparalleled military tactician in his time and it was him who saved the republic and defeated one of the greatest armies ever the mandolorians.
