Well i dont know, it could ruin the star wars sterotypes... but altough its fan-made... i give it a and i would definally watch the whole movie if available..
Well, according to the website the movie will be released for download on April 16, 2005. Their also having a free showing at the Senator Theatre in Baltimore MD on April 16, 2005. I really wished I lived in Baltimore so I could go to that showing.
the acting is horrible, the lightsaber effects r amateur (i can do a helluva better job wtf) as well as the laser bolts... some sounds dont seem properly synced with the footage... it makes it so obvious its a fan film... id personaly like to do some filmaking, a war film or a star wars kind of thing with a lightsaber fight, but i lack people to help (acting primarily) as well as the patients to do frame by frame editng to ensure that everything looks just as good if not better than what is seen in the real films...
I thought the effects (besides teh broad light sabers) kicked ass! The acting seemed ok for a film that wasn't the professionally made, except for the main evil lady, she was awful, and not at all threatening. Cut her and I would watch that
yeah, the acting sucks ass, they look at the freakin camera and they shouldn't it's a rule everyone is supposed to know and applay in a movie except comedies at a certain moment and they say "yes, you!" and that it's done intentionally.
The dark-side girl isn't pretty, they need badass chick in leather, the costumes aren't too good either...
The acting is like they are being interviewed (they look just next to the camera or straight in it. Most of the lightsaber combat is boring. No doubt this is going to be a good film (for a fan-made atleast).
