Yea. Hopefully, they'll add some new features and such to the engine, maybe so modding can be a lot easier. It sucked that every mod would be broken when a new patch came out.
Tis only a matter of days now - has anyone heard whether the ME maps for DOW will work with WA ? Or will it need a new tools download - some of those screenies that have been put up look to have some nice new extras in there - am delaying my next map until i see wot the score is .

I'd like to get it the day it comes out, but I'm not sure if I can do so, since I have school that day.
I'd think that old maps would work, since there isn't too big to the map functions. The map editor will be redone from what I've read, the biggest being the addition of triggers (Like Warcraft). That should make campaign creations and special events work a lot better.
If everything goes right, WA should come out tommorrow for those of us in the states (And I think Toronto, Canada will get it on Monday too). I won't be able to get it tomorrow, but on the following friday. Tell me how it is for those of you who'll get it!
The expansion looks like a well made mod from 1.3. so THAT's why they made 1.4 - to disable the mods that were almost just like 1.3 mods. Just a thoery but it makes sense. Way to make more money Relic!
The game's out, and I don't know whether or not I'll get it. I placed an order for a copy, since all the stores are out of copies, and won't be getting any until the weekend. I could get it tomorrow, or on monday.
