About the Tau and Eldar being allies - it's hinted in Xenology that the Eldar visited the Tau and helped start the whole Ethereal thing off.

But once again on this topic - if the game was done as the crazy blokes says, it would haven't been much of a game.

And Tau are XENOS the Imperium hates XENOS and wishes to remove all XENOS from existence. The reason why Tau sometimes have Imperial Guard allies is because during the Damocles Gulf crusade whole IG regiments were left behind when the Imperium forces pulled out. They were given the option join the greater good or be killed.

But that has nothing to do with Soulstorm NOTHING AT ALL!!!!

About the Tau and Eldar being allies - it's hinted in Xenology that the Eldar visited the Tau and helped start the whole Ethereal thing off.

It's hinted in the Tau codex that the eldar more or less like the Tau, calling them a young vibrant race, but don't really know anything bout them.

Also hinted in xenology? How - the only thing there is a comparisson between the ethereals forehead organ and the organ of that insect queen stating that they are exactly the same. And as such that the Tau are most likely being controlled by said ethereals.

I thought it was in Xenology, been a long time since I read the book.

I read in some book that the Tau were some form of Eldar experiment that was on going. It had the comparisons between the first encounter with the Imperium and it's advancement up until I think the Damocles crusade. It hinted that the Eldar had had intervened as the progression in their technology was amazing since the first encounter.

Not sure where it was if it wasn't Xenology, i'll have to do some digging.
