If we are to continue this discussion here in the Soulstorm section, could we (that means everyone) try to base the dicsussion around the game, and not the table top hobby please?

i really just load up on HW and dig em in by my front entrence then hold out until i get my sweet, sweet baneblade... then send it in with its to lil bruthers and watch the carnage....

i also perfer orks. i load up on waaagh banners and shoota's till i can get the flash gitz and a squig. i get 2 squads of flash, beef em up with the warboss and a big mek, use squigoth as a decoy as i sneak in my flash gitz and open fire (assuming i up graded to even more dakka and super eavy armor) i cant loose

u wanna hear my tactic for IG?????????

Posts Merged - Would it hurt to put a little more effort into a post? A simple 'good tactic', or 'rofl' isn't much. Perhalps you could have said why you thought it a good tactic in particular?

If some people answered yes to this question, and others answered no. What would you do?

Save asking that question, why not just tell people anyway? Saves wasting a post, plus gives you points.

uhh ok

well first i secure a location 3/4 ways down the map by captureing the point and putting all my turrets there. then i send HW to support my turrets. then i get 3 bassies, a BB and as many sentinals as i can. then i charge the enemy base with the BB and sentinals while my Bassies get within firing range then as my main assault is attacking i earth shaker the hell outta it.

another one is i secure a location almost right in front of the enemys base then i get my 3 bassies within firing range again, send 3 fully beefed out gaurdsmen with grenade launchers into the base consentrating fire on all D structures (but mainly units) while i send maruader bombers on krak bombing runs bombing what i think is the biggest threat. then at the last moment if all else fails i make one last desperate earth shaker atempt at the HQ of the base while i send my bombers on krak runs on the HQ. i call the stratigie "raining thunder" . u like??

That would work... if the enemy has no plan to counter-attack or is a heaping pile of n00b.

i have a gauntlet of turrets at their door step and they cant move an inch outside of their base lest they be reduced to a bloody mass on teh floor

ok yeea you sure can take those out with some long range AT...
and its not like your builder isnt going to die in an early counter-attack, either....
who do you use this strategy on? the computer?
