Campaign to easy

Im finding the campaign way to easy. Im playing as chaos on normal and basically all i have to do to win is hit t2 and throw out a few defilers.

So far ive been undefeated in both offense and defense. My claimed heads are those of the dark eldar , space marines orks and tau. From here on its basically just about mopping up the weaklings. I mean the strongest competition (other than hq's) was from the dark eldar with a massive defense rating of 6!. Its funny as , after i decimated dark eldar i went straight into space marine territory where i was met with a SCARY 1 defense rating!.

I was hoping the campaign would require some strategy as to what territories you capture , how you spend your req and what honor guard/defenses you place. But basically its not , its more like playing a string of 1vs1-2 skirmishes with double hp.

Ill give it a go on hard mode but im somewhat doubtful it will offer much strategy. Any one else feel the same?

THe campaign of both soulstorm and DC was there just for show. The campaigns of both are feverishly easy and utterly boring. So yes, I feel the same.

I didn't mind the kronos dc campaign though because it had a decent story (to me). The soulstorm campaign seems like it has none of the good from dc and all of the bad.

Just for example , when i did invade the space marines hq , my command favrons carvron or w/e hes name is didn't say a word. Was no real story to it and the little words he did have ment nothing. In dc i remember all through the maps , eliphas (then chaos lord of chaos forces on kronos) would engage in conversation and it made me interested in the endings.

I agree, I just passed the campaigns expecting some sort of storyline, instead I get 72 skirmishes in which it takes longer to load then the actual battles take. I stopped using the honor guard while passing it my second time with the sisters because it was too easy. I'm just doing insane skirmishes now, just so I don't lose my edge when I get back to online.
