[Help] Hackers

Hello,i need help desperately.......somebody has hacked my online Dow dc acount and is saying very rude inappropriate things under my name and angering everybody in the server and making me look bad.What in the world can i possibly do other than delete that acount and lose all my stats.Its VERY FRUSTRATING

I've never really understood what use stats are anyway.

They're just an ego-boost mechanism, and aren't necessarily representative of your skill and ability.

Personally, delete the account and start fresh.

But....
When your account got hacked, did the person change your password?

If not, go change your password.

I don't personally play many RTS games online, but surely there's some way to report this to Relic?

really i think the game is to old to have any kind of security whatsoever.They did not hack me completely though they just used my name to say things but i was still on.thx for responding

Was it exactly your name, or just closely similar?

Contact community@relic.com, and tell them about your situation. Once you have done that, hopefully Relic will take care of the rest.

There is away that someone can replicate the name of your account in the actually server lobby. It happened to me before. It involved a bit of typing code along the lines of :\[ and the account name.

It wasn't an actual hack as far as I know, just someone who knew a bit more about the lobby than I.

Is the person on the account the same time as you? As far as I am aware this isn't possible, as it won't let another person use the account at the same time or it will log the first person off. It's also not possible to use 1 account on 2 versions of DC at the same time as far as I know.

Have you noticed any extra games being played on the account?

well it would not usually be a really big deal since it is just my name but its kinda hard to enjoy the game when everybody in da server thinks u like to recycle ur own poop so u dont have to go hungry and that................not gonna go that far ,but yea................................ thx everyone

Trust me, no one not a single person really looks at the lobby. Unless it's really changed. It's just used for spamming out game names.
