| Re: Did You Know: The Tau were once an ally of mankind? Don't think so. They agreed to the ceasefire because of the tyranids, yes, but also because they knew the imperials couldn't win the crusade. The two forces were roughly evenly matched and after a while neither side was gaining anything with the fighting. So the power of one imperial crusade was then about as powerful as one thribing tau sept. That one crusade could have never won.

| Re: Did You Know: The Tau were once an ally of mankind? If the Imperium compiled a massive amount of Marines, Guard Legions, Titan Legions, and Naval Fleets they could have won. But it would have required a lot of resources that would have left the Imperium's other interests vulnerable.

| Re: Did You Know: The Tau were once an ally of mankind? Well obviously, investing that many resources into such a futile task would be pointless. Yes, they would have eliminated the Tau but at a cost so dear that they wouldn't stand a chance against the other numerous races.
