Hi guys. I've been playing CS:S for a while now and everything has been running smoothly up until recentely.

I log into Steam and everything appears to be okay, but when i dowuble click on the CS:S game link in My Games, it always comes up with this straight away:

It doesn't happen when i click on Half Life 2 so i can't work out what the problem is!

Thanks in advance...

It looks to me like something has corrupted in the lauch proccess of CSS or the CSS.GCF has been edited somehow, there could be many different reasons for this, but i would suggest uninstalling Counter Stike Source, exit steam and deleted deleted the following .gcf files from the steam/steamapps directory

counter-strike source shared.gcf
counter-strike source client.gcf

start steam redownload CSS, if it still doesn't work then reinstall the whole of steam
