Default Dual graphics cards

I will be building my next rig soon and I was wondering if anyone out there is using SLI graphics card (as in two tied together) and what they think about it. Is it worth getting ? Does Crysis run better or at higher settings?

Crysis is pretty good with its scaling afaik, what cards were you thinking about using?

I know the GT200 series has fairly consistent scaling at 80% or so usually.

I have not decided as of yet. I know it will be an Nvidia pair but I am still undecided. I am still looking to see how I want to perform.

I suggest you get a budget and then head over the tech forum, those guys are pretty good at spec'ing that sorta thing.

I played Crysis a GeFroce 260GTX. It worked very well for me.

I play it on a GTS250, planning on doing SLI with it.

I would suggest a 4890, or even a 5850, they're both great. I get avg FPS of 39 when playing with everything on very high, Res at: 1680 x 1050 and 4x AA.

That's with an OCed card and a quad though. We don't know what he is on.

It's a very mild OC; only 20mhz for both core and mem, which isn't hardly anything.
