Brad, You don't own a nVidia card that will run Crysis, so the latest nVidia Beta Drivers don't apply to your ATI cards.

@tolga
Touchy Much?
I said just provide a screenshot like mine how it says the *BlahBlahSpec* and the FPS and I'll be happy, but no screenshot, no believing

I think he means 16xAF...as 16xAA is not even an option.

It's not playable to do x16, it's just a freakin slide show, on ANY rig.

I just hope FarCry 2's specs aren't so high, if they are, sales will replicate Crysis's.

Is there realy any need to put AA up that high?

Playing at a high res, and putting AA to 2x should be enough.. (unless you guys are playing on a projector or something stupid...). There is supposibly a tweak to set the plants AA to higher (edge AA?), if they are realy annoying you.

Bah!
Playing at 1280*1024, with 4* AA and you can still EASILY notice jagged edges, 8* at the very least to start being a decent amount of Aliasing correction.

@n88tr
Actually, 16* AA In crysis on a 'decent' rig, is actually very possible and playable, its when you use the 16*QAA when ANY system dies.
Proof?
My 16*AA Very High DX10 only dropped to 10FPS, so a 9800GX2 will handle it at around 20fps I'd say.
So if you have a 'beyond' stock 9800GX2, such as the ones offered by XFX or EVGA that typically come pre overclocked, you will handle 16*AA Very High DX10 at I'd say, 25 - 27FPS.

@Brad, that Plant AA is actually set highest with Shaders on High, enableing AA disables Edge AA.
So plants look better, with AA disabled, however, weapons and other objects look trashy.

Yeah.

Zero AA is what it looks like, and with that turned off, all games are able to run with less stress on the gpu.

Considering AA in Crysis is actually remarkable not demanding until you reach the high levels.
On High DX10 settings, I can run AA on 8* @ 30FPS, with it off I get around 35FPS.
Its a bearly noticable frame rate drop for a MASSIVE improvement in quality

ohk...

anyway, most people should be able to play without AA on insane ammounts, if 4 samples per pixel isnt enough to let you have an immersive gaming experience, then your LCD must have the worst DPI ever, or your just brain is total n00b and cant smoothen things out for itsself (There was a time when home entertainment didnt have graphical representation.. I know it wouldve sucked, but generations of this has given us the ability to use our imagination and look past what we are given)

Not true at all, Crysis AA is all custom, and not done properly.
The AA will look the same on any system

Or yours is just total n00b to NOT notice the insane amount of Aliasing that goes on in Crysis
4* AA In COD4, Fantastic, not a single aliased edge, in BF2 8*, piss poor, in Crysis, the worst.
In Sup Com @ 16* remarkable average *Looks MUCH more like 8* *
