if you look at advanced partical effects (like where smoke hits things) you can see in DX10 that its smoother, but its the small details. Also, some of the effects are a little sharper in DX10, but I don't think its enough to justify all the hoopla over DX10........yet

Yeah, DX10 is still wet from birth....I think Crysis and games like Age of Conan are good steps forward, but I think it'll really look better than DX9 as more games adopt it. I wouldn't doubt Crysis to look a bit stale in 5 or 6 months...

The DX10 has somewhat of a stronger depth to it if thats the right word..mostly in the lighting..it looks much better IMO on DX10 than DX9.

Also the water is an obvious difference.
