Iv heard about DX10 but where the hell do you get it from? cant find it on microsoft or anywhere can anyone give me a hand. thanks

You don't need it. I have the same game and it works just fine with Direct X 9.0c.

It's automaticly delivered with any version of windows vista and windows 7 RC / windows 7 Beta. With this it is not available for windows xp or any version earlier.

Or you have to buy vista / download windows 7 RC, or you have to stick with the 9.0c.
Warning: games will run 'slower' on dx10, because it demands more of your pc!

Actually a number of games will in fact run better as dx10 is better optimised than dx9.
Early dx10|dx9 games will run better under dx9 but that's due to the novelty of dx10 during the time.
