TOV:OPS Help...

I bought the COH:TOV. The campaign was really something. I finished the TIGER ACE in less than 30 mins. I liked it, its like COD, BIA in a WIC style world. THEN... I thought OPERATIONS can be played offline... I thought wrong. I feel like i have more of the old than the new, which is the case. Can't I play OPS offline?

The Operations? They don't have any player AI, but they can be played offline. Stonewall works fine, but it is more fun playing with otehr human players as well.PanzerKrieg. No AI at all, btu it can be played, only you won't have anyone to fight, so it'll just be you driving around destroying stuff and being bored. But it's a good way to learn the maps before you head online and play against people.Assault. This is a game-type where you control a Hero unit and attack the enemies defenses, with Ai controlled units supporting your Hero. The AI units don't really advance past your Hero, and so if your alone the enemy won't have a Hero and won't attack your own defenses. It'll be a pretty one-sided game, and after the first time it won't be all that enjoyable.

Wow. So this TOV is like a rip-off. Man, I thought the Direct Fire feature was included in skirmishes...

Well i'm glad Relic could disappoint another person. It might be a good idea to actually read up on a game as much as possible before running out and buying it. I knew exactly what i was getting, and as a Skirmish/LAN player and modder, i was quite happy buying it, especially with the pre-order $10 discount.

*Plus i'm a CoH fanboy, so i had no choice in the matter, or so i tell my wallet*

Well partly my fault as a consumer, customer or whatever the hell my role is in the videogame food chain. Partly their fault for not saying game details. Whatever, whats done is done.
