Skirmish mode
 

Everytime I start playing skirmish mode, the enemy sends out its tanks and guys and they stop at my base. Never do they attack or anything. Also if i select my tanks and guys, it won't let me click on the enemy so my guys can attack them. The only way I can attack the enemy is if I hit ctrl while clicking on them. why is this?

sorry for the double post, but could someone please let me know whats happening is due to a bad retail version of the game, or have I over looked an option in the game? thanks.

try the good 'ole fashion uninstall-reinstall

ok i did a full uninstall and reinstall, i entered the correct cdkey that is on the back lower left side of the cd case and the same thing is still happening. btw. I got the box with the blue cover with two jets flying out and two tanks coming out if that has anything to do with it.

make sure you get the patches, if that doesnt fix it, try to use ea support or the real generals forums

i have updated the game with the latest patch, and tried to visit the offical forums but they are down. Anyways, what happens when you all start a skirmish mode, do the computer controlled enemies attack you or just go to your base and stay there?

You might want to ensure that the AI is not on the same team as you are. Believe me, this has happened to me before. It sucks when you've already wasted all that time building a base, only to find out you have to restart. Grrr.
