I hate Him! Simple as. Reasons to follow:
  • Yuri: He is too damn Psychic, he has a little floating unit, that can go up to your base, "capture" your buildings, and then the git sells them. - Then, to make matters worse, he goes on to the next building and so on until you haven't got anything left.
  • Genetic Mutator: This thing just about pisses me off. You place some guardsmen around and fortify them, only for Yuri to use his Genetic Mutator to turn you nice men into big Grey Giants.
  • Psychic Structures: The dudes buildings can capture your units! - I mean what the hell is this all about? - I was playing a game yesterday and send 30 tanks into his base, only for like 15 / 20 of them to get bloody captured and the rest to get destroyed.
  • UFO's: These things just take the piss. As soon as they hover over your power plants, thats it! Power offline, Sam Sites are rendered useless, and the only surface to air defence you have that is likely to work is the Rocket Solders (who around the same time are getting turned into Grey Giants)
  • There is some other weapon thing that he has which destroys a selected area (his face appears when he does it) - That is annoying also.

i hate when sent spys to his base and he capture them!!! wtf?!?! there is no way seccesfuly get a spy in 1 of his buildings!
ohh and the weapon u mentioned called Psychic Dominator.

u could always send mass spies, dogs > spies imho, gets lotsa dogs so he cant do anything with the spies he captured, use mass infantry before sending in tanks, send weaklings like engineers or sumthing, then use tanks and bust his ass :)

Good Tactics (and yes, I have no idea how you'd capture a "spy"). The only way I can get around it is to use Jets & the Weatherstorm Generator to take out his power plants, and then to go in with tanks then.

if you want something anti genetic mutator is to make rocketeers and dogs since theyre invunrable to it.Pretty cool too :)

Best bet to kill yuri is to use 2 marage tanks.
He captures one you kill him with the other or use rocketeers.

With the Gernetic mutater rocketeers are not effected.

Psychic Structures are only a nightmare if you don't know how to take them out.Robot tanks work wonders to charge in take the power down and then send in the rest.

I really like UFO's they are great if your playing a multiplayer game and take down your opponents power. Best way to counter them is a lot of antiair that won't be effected by power.

the Psychic Dominator is a nightmare no real way to counter that.

Like most "annoying enemys" it's good when your playing them, though a pain when your fighting them ;) I can see them saucers coming in quite handy (along with more or less everything else Yuri has) if you are playing with him.

build your battle lab asap and get spys over to his base in IFVs before he builds psychic towers

if he already has them, use the chronosphere to immediatly transport the IFV to the structure and undeploy it
the enemy units will be attacking the IFV and your spy can infiltrate safely

works every time if you know what your doing
