[Help] Start-up Problem

I bought the gold edition of company of heroes and i installed it, all is going well and then i open it and it goes straight to download this patch so you can play online, but i dont want to play online, i just want to lan so basically i want a normal main menu. here is a link to a video that shows what happens YouTube - Company of Heroes question need help!!!!!!

The problem is though you can't play it without getting online.

If you want you can plug-off your internet connection. That should work.

Mind you though you have to use the CD. And you can't play with other players around the vicinity.

well i've already tried unplugging the internet and i have the cd in. The video that the link is, is what happens when the internet is plugged out and the cd is in YouTube - Coh Follow up Problem (internet cable unpluged)

Ok I already saw the video. Since the problem could be any number of problems. I'm gonna give some solutions that might work.

From the video I'm assuming that the CD is already in the drive. Try starting it without the CD, a message should pop up stating what CD you should insert.

I've heard the GE has a number of problems.
