Problem installing mod

I've been trying to install various mods on CoH Gold edition V 2.600.0 and none have worked thus far, do most mods work with my version of CoH? Thanks in advanced for any advice

Hi doze,

unfortunately due to the way CoH patches work, all modifications and other custom content created for the game are heavily depending on having the right version of the game, which is usually stated in the readme file or the version overview above the download description.

As a mod to start with which is compatible with your game I would recomend to try RC_Realism, Company of Heroes Downloads, Company of Heroes Modifications

Ah I see, yeah I was thinking that each mod depending on the Version of the game etc..

Pille's spot on. The v2.4 patch broke all mods make for v2.301 or older, so you have to check what version the mod your about to download is for. Back To Basics v1.07 and Cross Of Iron v0.98.2 will both work with your version of CoH, so give them a try!
