Vista, CoH and mods and maps

Hi,
I have downloaded a couple maps and tried to install them in the appropriate directory. When I go to THQ\CoH\WW2\Data.....there it ends. There is nothing in the data folder...hence I can't go to scenario\mp. Is this because I am running Vista? I know Vista is keeping me from running a lot of things unless I want to do some major tinkering with files. Does anyone have any idea as to how I can install maps, etc?? Any help would be much appreciated!!

Well if I have trouble installing a map,you can bet I'll have trouble creating and getting a map to run! I don't have time for that stuff anyway...just about have time for playing :(

create the folders where the maps should be installed :)

Well, I tried that...still don't even see anything....maybe it's because I am running Vista or something. I made the folders ...when I go to unzip the map...it's not there...I don't see it anyway. I know it's there though because I see the zip files when doing something else and I can't do anything about it,which is no help at all really...this techno stuff sucks sometimes

It works, it has nothing to do with Vista at all. Your not doing something right. I too use both versions of Vista AND XP SP2, 32bit and 64bit and have CoH installed and running custom maps under all of the above and it's no different in any of the above except for 64bit Vista where it uses the program files (x86) folder instead of just Program Files. If you just create the scenarios/mp subfolders in the data folder, it works. No ifs, ands, or buts about it.
