| I have been playing for a long while now using Werhmacht. I've beaten hundreds of other players and AIs. However something was lacking, I had this feeling where it always hit me hard. They have mortars, Nebelwerfers, Rocket Barrage, V2 rockets and that Firestorm. However they unlike its Panzer Elite counter-part they don't have mobile artillery that goes head on with Allied combat arms. Calliopes, Self-Propelled Artillery (Priests), Howitzers. Most of the time those barrages can be annoying specially when its spammed. Its used to long range base rape. British (with the Overwatch) can kill allies and enemy alike. Also those Anti-Tank Guns can be annoying at most especially paired up with those artillery. Trying to kill the source of the barrage can be costly. Allied only costs them time while Wehrmact costs time and munitions. Sometimes I can only sit and watch while my forces get massacred, or fall back to another defensive line and slowly recuperate. Its like its one big race. Well its just me, what about you guys? |

| Phew, i thought you were going to ask for a bigger tank of something! Well besides Mortars, the US doesn't have any non-doctrine arty, where as the Wehrmacht has Mortars, Nebelwerfers, and Halftrack Stuka-zu-fuss'. They really don't need another mobile arty, because they already have 2. While the Wehr on-map arty may not be quite so powerful or long ranged, they do have quicker recharge times, are non-doctrine, can move, and the Nebel has a lingering burn effect which can actually burn infantry and vehicles after the barrage. If you actually look at the Non-doctrine and Doctrine on-map arty units, the Wehr and PE have the most arty in the game! The same can actually be said for the Doctrine off-map arty. Anyway, i'f your Wehr and your trying to beat the Allies without arty, you should change your Strats significantly. I always have at least a mortar on the map, and i prefer to have either a Nebelwerfer or Halftrack Stuka-zu-fuss as well. I position as close as i safely can to the front, and i'm constantly shelling the enemy with them. I bet you simply attack in one big infantry blob with the Attack-Move command right? Don't, your men will stop at the first contact and will be easy targets for arty. Run amongst their emplacements, and especially your tanks, charge that 17pdr and get behind it! If all else fails, cover their emplacements with smoke barrages and run your forces past it, and just leave some flamethrowers behind to mop up.

| Nah, I don't have time to make blobs of infantry. I only have 1 Volks and 1 Grenadier squad running around the frontlines making sure no G.Is flank the MG crews and what not. Building Wires and Sandbags. A couple of flaks88 two at most. 3 when I am desperate to hold the line. My style of playing is centered around MGs and Flak88s and a push by tanks. And Well I want Artillery suppport matching the Devastation of Calliopes and Howitzers because Stuka von Fuss and Nebelwerfer have short range or weak damage. A bigger tank would be nice... A bigger tank with Artillery on it.... Like a V2 on board. |
