inactivity after a certain number of points are capped so i found this when sometimes playing against the AI on normal difficulty, they would capture a few, then stop, leaving me with a boring match, on a map i created to be fun, unless they stop to build more units? any ideas how to fix this, or make it easier for them to decided to actually try to annihilate me? |
Re: inactivity after a certain number of points are capped I've had maps that do that - the AI just seems to stall. Don't really know what causes it. I built one four player map where one of the AI opposition start points just wouldn't build anything. I deleted and re-placed the base building and it was OK after that. Again - no obvious reason for the problem. |
Re: inactivity after a certain number of points are capped Restarting the match sometimes helps, but often if the map layout is rather pooly made or overly complicated, the AI just fails. Usually if the AI doesn't do anything during a match, or spams off-map call-in units, and restarting doesn't help, it can be because the HQ is placed too close to the edge of the map, and moving it a short distance away (length of the building distance) will help. |
Re: inactivity after a certain number of points are capped thanks guys, ill try moving the HQ's and being more simple in my map designs |
