.sga to .sgb (or -dev format) Can it be done? And if so, how? Cos i'm really annoyed that every mapper and his dog is going .sga. I dont see the point, it cant have any serious advantages over the -dev format, apart from convenience. Anyway, can anybody help?

Unless you're a mapper you can change the format of maps... .sga formats take less memory than .sgb. Why would you want to change the formats? I'm guessing you have problems with the installation of .sga maps?

| .sga maps are also easier for beginners to install, and they can be played online without needing -dev. Most people who play online don't use -dev as it's thought to be responsible to some connection and sync issues. I believe there was a tool floating around on the RelicNews forums some time ago when .sga's didn't work properly, couldn't hurt to look there? http://forums.relicnews.com/forumdisplay.php?f=146

The reason i want them in the -dev form is that i can't get the launcher working. The .sga maps show up in the launcher but i've done everything in the readme and they wont show up. Plus my favorite maps are in -dev form and they wont show if i use the launcher.

If the launcher does not work then it means there is something wrong with the program itself. You have a lot of options to choose from besides turning .sgas to devs. 1.) You can repair the installation... 2.) Uninstall the whole program and reinstall it.. 3.) Call Technical Support 4.) You can troubleshoot using the Programs Readme.txt file. and lots of others...
