Map Request "Battle of Hurtgen"

There's a lot of maps about the Hurtgen Forest, yet, none of them seem to capture the atmosphere of horror of one of the most senseless battles in WWII. American G.Is get sent to push into German lines through the Siegfried line (A long wall of Dragon's Teeth) thick forests with mines, Menacing Flak88 and Panzer barrages. There was this movie that really captured the insanity brought about by a forgotten campaign. One of my favorite Movies actually "When Trumpets Fade." Maybe there's a mapper out there bold enough to take the challenge.

Can't say i've heard of that movie, when was it made? $Texas$ did most if not all the Hurtgen Forest maps i know of, and i reckon their pretty good. If you reckon the other Hurtgen Forest maps around for CoH aren't qiite right, maybe you should look at learning to map yourself? Otherwise, i don't know how another mapper might get the atmosphere right for how you want it. Also, i don't think there are any mappers hanging around here anymore, matter of fact, i don't know of any long-term CoH players that hang around here anymore other than myself and the website's staff.

Nah. Texas's maps are alright. I played it and got frustrated cause the AI beats the crap out of me. I can't handle open fields too well. NO MORE MAPPERS!? NOOOOOO! Kidding, its sad though. I noticed that there are only a few here that actually present themselves. And, ah, the movie When Trumpets Fade is a 1998war film directed by John Irswin. It stars Ron Eldard, Frank Whaley, Zak Orth, Dylan Bruno. Unfortunately nobody likes it because they say "soldiers aren't like thay, they're heroic and things."- Not all, not all.

Yeah it's sad & lonely here, most people stop here from Filefront, see how quiet it is here, and just move onto the RelicNews forums. Then if they get banned from there, they come back here looking for the same quality of help.
