| Ah the realistic roads. To be honest I have no advice on that matter but you can try all sorts of things just as I did in the start.Ill put some screens here so you can say if thats the kind of roads you mean by.On this screens there is just a basic spline road with two other splines next to it.Its just a basic example. For the other question....the original Relic maps.I dont know how to open or edit original Relic maps.Sorry bro.It depends on what do you want to do.Take some turned on lights and then stamp them to your map or ...... ? Oh by the way,did the unit assigment go well ?Like in the D-day map.Units from scratch. Just wanted to know.

| Oh, I'll take this one! Relic maps: Go download Corsix's modtools, and then look around in Relic's own data directories, then extract the needed files (It'll be pretty obvious- I think they'll be under "Data/scenarios/mp"). Very handy for seeing how Relic pimps their maps. For realistic roads, I'll have to write a freakin' guide... Here's a few pointers, though: Overlapping splines are handy for adding dirty looks to roads, and don't forget making your splines semi-transparant. Toss splats along the road to give it more detail. |

| No problem. It's really handy to get pointers from those Relic maps sometimes (Or just gaze in awe as you realize you'll never create something so beautiful... Then again, no one here is recieving a paycheck for their maps )I'm thinking of writing a nice, detailed tutorial/guide on map creation & detailing. Sure, I'm no expert, but I think a lot of first-timers, who would otherwise be scared off by Worldbuilder (It's a wonderfully efficient program- When you learn how to use it. Getting to that point is the 'fun' part.), and spreading some knowledge would be good, I think. |

| Thank you for the help about the roads. And yes, the unit assigment is going fine. the only problem is that the PCU wont use the men, ive placed :SIm not good at at the corsix modtools, so can someone be kind and make the Lyon 4 player map, useable in worldbuilder, and maybe send it to my mail? you dont have to do anything with the map, just so i can open it in the worldbuilder. Once again. Thanks to both Grenadier and Finalizer |

| Ah...thats a tricky one.Well I had the same problem and I basicly did nothing. It just stopped after some time.Maybe it just looks like that in the World Builder when you move your camera into certain position ? I cant help you with this question because I didnt make the World builder.I just help with questions like how to do something, cant fix the problem for you.Sorry.Try to turn off " Render Fog " which is located in the toolbar. 1)Edit 2)Options 3)Render Fog(turn it off-untick it ) I read something about a thing in which is said that World Builder might have some problems when you are using specific kind of Windows.Which Windows are you using ?

| About the water problem its always there. Even ingame it looks like that. But can someone please open the 2 v2 player Lyon map, and make it able to edit in worldbuilder? And another question (again) How does i make stairs the units can make? you know, like in the V1 launch factory single player map. Last edited by stoffer130; April 26th, 2007 at 06:05 AM. |

| Heyas! About opening Lyon... 1.) Open Corsix's Mod Studio 2.) Select "Load: CoH Mod" 3.) Select "RelicCOH.module" 4.) Click "Files" tab on left side of screen 5.) Open "data" tree 6.) Open "Scenarios" tree 7.) Open "mp" tree 8.) Scroll down and right-click "2p_lyon.sgb" 9.) Select "Extract this file" 10.) Wait a couple seconds....should get a "File extracted" message 11.) Right-click "2p_lyon.info 12.) Select "Extract this file" 13.) Wait a couple seconds....should get a "File extracted" message 14.) Open World Builder...should be able to open 2p_lyon For the record, I probably could have condensed this into 6 steps, but I wanted to make sure there was no ambiguity...enjoy! |
