Default Trouble loading the next map in MP

Hi all,

I hope someone can help with this problem. I can connect to servers and join a game fine. When the game is over and a new map loads up the majority of the time it either takes me 4-5 mins to connect to it or it never does. Sometimes it connects fine, mostly not.

I have a good PC running i7 proccessor and SLi GTX260 graphics cards, i get 300fps on high settings.

I have tried altering some console settings from default but none seem to work.

My internet connection is good, not great but normally get 4meg connection (live in countryside in UK)

Anyhelp please, its getting a pain as I love S&D matches and normally miss the first 4 rounds....

Thanks
Mdwysc

Have you tried reinstalling ?

Backup your players folder before uninstalling & after uninstalling delete the game directory left behind, default...

C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare

Full system specs wouldn't hurt either.

Yes i have tried a re-install.

I have to say this version is 1.0 Call of duty 4. My clan's servers are all 1.0 so want to continue to play on this patch. I have a 1.7 version on my other hard drive that I use for Team warfare League matches. I have to check if that is the same as I haven't used it in a while.

Thanks for any help
