Problem with Massacre mod(3.0)

Hello everyone.I decided to re-install COD2,and look for some decent mods,and dl'd the massacre(3.0),but everytime I load a new game I get the following error message:

Any advice would be most welcome,and apologies if this post is in the wrong area.

That is an invalid IWI file error. Usually caused when the image is the wrong size, and converted into an IWI file.

You will need to either remove the mod, or get in touch with the mod creator and report the error to them.

Was looking for a decent single player mod,and thought I'd found it.Guess not,eh.

It is a very good mod the reason you are incountering the error is because of the method you are rendering in. The mod was fully tested in dx9 im sorry if dx7 is causing you problems

Not so. The error returned is an invalid materials file error (russianuniformcol#0). It has nothing to do with the DirectX mode.

If it was the DX mode, it wouldnt even load at all.
