hi everyone sorry i know you ppl get asked the same questions over and over but here goes...

i've already read the Beginners Guide to COD2 Modding, but i still need some help

I modified the damage and that worked okay but i don't know about accuracy,recoil and firerate. Are the .accu files in iw_07 for SP and MP and to what do i change them to increase recoil slightly?

The only values i see in ppsh_mp in iw_13 that relates to recoil are those containing "kick". Most seem to change how far up/down the gun recoils before it stops though, but i want to increase the spread. I changed hipGunKickAccel by like 300% but it doesn't seem to make any difference.

Also how do i change the fire rate?

no accuracy files are used in MP - they are all AI SP files.

You are correct about the 'kick' settings, but they must all be edited together. And there are quite a few of them.

Be careful that you dont make the weapon unusable. In fact, in real life, the PPSH had almost no recoil.

The way to make the weapon 'less' dangerous is to alter the distance and rate of fire. Just adjust the mindistance and maxdistance settings.

I would edit the spread ,bob, and reload those drum clips r suppose to be hard to reload(only give them 1 drum of ammo as was realistic) then I would limit the weapon.
a fair realistic mp level for 15on 15 should have 3-4 smgers (both ppsh included), 1sniper,4 semiauto rifles and 5 bolt action rifles and 1 shot gunner(should be 0 unless u want it in) this is for soviet side.

looks like our admins are too stuck-up to change anything even though our whole CoD2 community wants to change it
