cd/computer not responding

icon_question cd/computer not responding
i have call of duty uninstalled on my comp but when ever i put in the cod disc is says it is installed, and i can uninstall it, so i click uninstall and the litttle instashield box pops up and goes away then nothing happens. any help would be nice thanks
