Thats the technical way of saying what Ive been saying: higher FPS leads to greater velocity and greater speed. And in the COD engine, the same kind of "rounding out" that is described in that net article happens for other vertual renderings like speed and inertia.
The COD engine is not the simple Q3 engine as such. It is a developed form of the MD4 Q3 engine that was used in MOH (which in turn came from Heavy Metal F.A.K.K). This engine always rounds up, never down, over any given number of frames. Hence, the greater the FPS, the greater accumulation of rounding ups. |
