Lag issues
 

As of late I have been seeing lag issues on some of my CODUO servers. For the life of me I can not figure out what is the root cause. The CPU, memory, net traffic do not appear to be cause. The problem seems to be random. With symptoms of a rubberband effect. People jumping from on place to another.

I have not been able to find a coraltion to the problems. I have monitored the server via ssh and I know the servers resources are not the problem. The net traffic is not the issue. Even when I have experienced the problems, my ping is good in the 40-50's. I have run trace routes and they do not show any type of problem.

The game servers are up to date, and running the latest releases.

Server #1
Dual Xeon 3.2 64 bit
2Gigs Ram
Running Linux Redhat 64 bit

Server #2
Dual Core 3.4 64 bit
1 Gig Ram
Running Linux Redhat 64 bit

Since this problem started, we have moved datacenters. Prior to this we ran on Dual Xeon 64 Bit servers with the same setup, so I dont believe the issues will be from the server setup or configurations.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

get cod2 its much better in lag with the patches :D lol

When i had lag issues i typed in console (~) type /rate 25000 and hit enter then /snaps 40 and hit enter see if thet helps.:)
