Binocular Problem in Russian Mission

Hi i cant use the binocular in the russion mission, where i have to destroy the 3 anti tank positions. I dont want to know how to use in Multiplayer, i want to know how to handle this in the singleplayer mission. thx for answers

Take out the binoculars,zoom in and look at the gun positions, and when a crosshair appears, press the fire button. Your radioman should start calling out the coordinates.
