Tell me my fps
 

could someone tell me how much fps i SHOULD be getting? here are my system specs:
-768 mb of memory
-nvidia geforcefx 5200 with 256 mb
-p4 at 2.3 ghz
-LAN internet
if you dont know how much fps i should be getting, tell me ways to increase my fps. i get like 20 fps on hurtgen and 30 fps on dawnville on average. sucks, huh?

btw, is there a way to use directx 8.0? its supposed to make the frames smoother or something, cuz cs source uses it and its real smooth.

Try tweaking down your graphics a bit and turn off "sync every frame" in options menu (it's a frame killer)

okok, new question. with all my comp specs, what are all the cod settings i should have to get a good constant 60 fps?

or, are there any programs that will confiqure some settings to give me a good fps boost in games?

OR, how can i lock my fps with my monitors refresh rate? my monitors refresh rate is 85hz.
