Default COD not working

Hey people hope you all had a nice Christmas!

I bought Call Of Duty today after playing the two demo games to death!

But When i install it and I get to the menu screen i can not see the menu back Drop or the menu buttons! I can Click them but i can't see the writting! When i click The new game button the Difficulty Level box pops up yet i can't see the writting! I can Slect a difficulty! When i do click on one! The game DOES NOT START! it returns to the Blank Menu screen and i can click all the buttons (I can here the clickin noises when i scroll over it)!

The Two Demos worked fine!

I updated my Graphics Card drivr b4 installing COD!

Mabey try defrag, then re install. Sounds like a defrag or VC driver issue, do you have the latest driver?

I tried reinstalling it but with no luck! Then i thought i wld find a form to see if anyone had any ideas!

I defraged about 2 days ago so i don't see thatr bin much of a problem!

I think its down the the VC driver as ..::RedDogSeven::.. said! As yesterday i went to the NVIDA website and got the new driver but did not work the driver was realised 9th Dec! Then i went to windows Update and it has a Driver dated the 6th Oct! Hopfully that will work

Thanks

Murray

Check the file sizes of all .pk3's .... I'm pretty sure its the pak4.pk3. you probably don't have the full file installed. I have the same problem, but sadly my CD is scratched and I can't retrieve the full file.
