Default .GSC files?

After extracting some of the .pk3 files and looking for the infantry models, I believe they are in .GSC file format like? If so, do any of you gents here know of a .GSC file importer for either 3DS Max/GMax/Milkshape 3D? I've googled it and no luck sadly.

Thanks in advance for any assistance,
IndigoSpyder

Nope, .gcs files are no models. They predefine the gear of the human models I think. You can open them with the Text Editor, Notepad, etc.

There is no dark side of the moon, as a matter of fact, it's all dark.

Yeah, with gsc you can to simple stuff with the models (make the hat into a different xmodel file that the game already has, ex: make german helmets into brushes, etc.), but xmodel files are the real model files. For uo they are mostly in pakuo4, but for old CoD its pak0.

You cannot import xmodels. xmodels are compliled files, and nothing can edit them once compiled.

What you do have are xmodel exporters - for Milkshape 3D and LightRay 3D. With some difficulty, you can export a 3D Studio Max model to LightRay, then to xmodel.
