Just plain odd blood mods?
 

I will be well impressed if anyone can answer this.

Ok, i recently added the z_mcbloodfx to my main CoD file, loaded the game up and nailed a nazi. as expected the blood mod looked pretty dam good, infact i was so impressed that i didn't notice some german nail me in the side of the head.

So as i reloaded the level i got the same sob in my sights and bam! much to my suprise there was no blood. So i shot up a few more of them and still no blood at all.I checked the blood was enable, which it was. I tried a different blood mod and same thing again, first game i got blood mod to work but as soon as i got killed and reloaded the blood would not be in the game at all.

Long story short, anyone got any ideas why this might be happening as it is puzzling me?

As for your problem, do you have more then 2 blood mods installed? If so, delete one as it may have a conflict.

If you only have one...then I have no clue. That is very strange indeed.

nope, just one installed at any time


So yeah your right, just plain odd! I am gonna re-install and see if that make a difference.

All sorted after the reinstall.

I feel happy, so happy infact i think i may just go abuse some sheep!

Howdy,

I created teh bloodFX mod. THere was a bug in the first 2 versions that caused that. You should get the 'v3' version , it fixes the above mentioned issues and works 100% in multiplayer as well as single player
(mp requires server to be set to 'un' pure).
