Serious Online Play Problem

K so i have owned every C&C game but never played it online... so i decide to play Generals online but when i try to connect to a game a window pops up saying "Cannot join game- game is a different version" wtf is that? I have tried "repaired installation" and i have disabled the firewall, yet nothing works... the help files did nothing for me as well...anyone have an idea how to fix this??

It sounds obvious, but have u updated your game using the auto update on ur generals disc 1?

Yeah I've had trouble with every C&C game online as well. Do you have a router/firewall?

Did you download the game?

I got the same problem, and I just downloaded the 1.5

Anyone who knows what's wrong? Please help!

Well I have the same problem but since I have modified INI's like fast build times and carpet bombing and all that I figured it wont let me play unless the other people have the same mods.:confused:
