HELP! Installation Problems with RA2

I bought my son this game for christmas, we use to play it a while back and never had a problem with it. I am not running window XP though and I was running ME on a different pc back then.... it keeps giving me C: DOCUME~1KeressLOCALS~1Temp94db_appcompat.txt error.... When I hit install it will act like it is starting to install then a tiny white square appears on my screen and I get that error.... any help would be appreciated. I have looked online for a soloution but can not find one as of yet... I have tried switching the compatibility.. nothing works.[/

Perhaps that account doesn't have full administrator privileges.

RA2 will work on XP, if i remember rightly the map editor for RA2 wont and i don't think there's a fix...

Make a backup of the appcompat.txt file and delete it. See if that works...

And what exactly has that got to do with you, huh? If it hurts your feelers so much you have to make a post stating the obvious then report the post as being problematic...

i was stating that anyone could have put this in the right section.

but he didn't because he wanted it to be noticed.

i said it because i don't like seeing the rules broken.
