Serious Error sorry about this.... there is no solution to this. in old Generals you used to get a clue to the problem, it would name the ini where the error was. with Zero Hour you don't get it from what i have seen. all i can suggest is that in future you test your work at each step. after each change. i had the same problem as you when working on China 4 CC. what did i do? the only thing i could. took out the ini files one at a time in order to identify which one was the problem. i ended up ditching CommandSet.ini and starting again. anyway, waffled enough me thinks. try that ^ ^ what were you trying to do? it may give us some clue. {poetry} |
Re: Help!! Serious Error i was trying to enable the icbm for alexis alexander, i put in the commands and buttons in commandset.ini and commandbutton.ini, so maybe there is the prob, but i just cant figure it out... maybe u could look at them and help please... |

Re: Help!! Serious Error None taken champ. By the looks of your files you added in the SupW_Command_CruiseMissile yourself ? You do not need to, the entries are already in that ini file. Do a search, and you will find the buttons already made about 3/4 of the way down the file (along with the ICBM), then CUT AND PASTE the construct buttons to your dozer. Your error may be caused by confusion of the amount of construct and command buttons you have? |

The supwerweapon general gets most of the new superweapons cuz thats what was planned for her by EA |

Re: Help!! Serious Error i dunno. the ini files are much more complicated than the last lot. you effectively get a set for each of the nine Generals. it was a handy feature from before, but i guess you just have to be more careful with your editing. testing things is very important. |
Re: Help!! Serious Error its called superweaponmod, its my first mod ever :D :p . it adds the tomahawk storm ICBM for alexis alexader and it adds the #10 general. and all usa aircraft have exhaust like the ones in usa mission 2 and gla mission 3 :naughty: |

Re: Help!! Serious Error yeah, I had this prob too. The fix is this. Go to data/ini/object/weaponobject and look up cruise missile weapon. In this entry you want to change the model of the missile from NBNukeMissile (or whatever it is) to ABNukeMissle (note the spelling of the word missile, it is wrong intentionally!!) This should be a one step fix, however you may also need to change the behaviour of the weapon also (ie increase the height before turning), whatever works for you. Here is whats in mine; Behavior = NeutronMissileUpdate ModuleTag_03 DistanceToTravelBeforeTurning = 500 ; goes straight up a long ways first MaxTurnRate = 9000 ; huge, since it turns off-camera ForwardDamping = 0.1 RelativeSpeed = 8.0 LaunchFX = FX_NeutronMissileLaunch IgnitionFX = FX_NeutronMissileIgnition TargetFromDirectlyAbove = 500 ; aim for an intermed spot directly above the target, so we come straight down onto it SpecialAccelFactor = 2 SpecialSpeedTime = 1000 SpecialSpeedHeight = 400 SpecialJitterDistance = 0.4 DeliveryDecalRadius = 210 DeliveryDecal Texture = SCCNuclearMissile_China Style = SHADOW_ALPHA_DECAL OpacityMin = 25% OpacityMax = 50% OpacityThrobTime = 500 Color = R:0 G:0 B:255 A:255 OnlyVisibleToOwningPlayer = Yes End End Hope this helps ya. |
