Join Date: March 29th, 2003 Rep Power: 0 | Kinda ironic but I just finished a "mod" of my own that implements many of these changes. I am still finishing up the little details such as Icons, and once its done I'll post it here at generalsfiles. Heres a list of the main changes I've made.
Added more unit specific armor for each unit/side. US tanks now have more advanced armor then the GLA, same with Overlords.
Structures Added. *Note-These structures are ideas borrowed from the Gen Modx Mod and New Tech RA3 mod. Same can be said mostly for the units, many are borrowed or modified from these mods. Props go to Chris Hill and Eviljedi.

Changes made to the Weapons.ini
-Range for all weapons modified.
-Scatterradius applied to nearly all units.
-Damage scaled and increased.
-Clip Sizes changed for units.
This mod makes it more realistic in terms of tank shell damage. The scorpion tank does not do only 30 anymore, but now does around 130. Armor has been modified to adapt to the damage changes. Also, all tanks now have mg's mounted on them and I am still debating removing the drone ability for US vehicles. |
