When you say train, you mean to to grant them a veterancy? There might be better examples, but all that springs to mind right now is firing a weapon at them (obviously it wouldn't hurt them). Then, the weapon could use a collide behaviour that grants a veterancy to whomever it hits. But I don't know of any way to pass experience points onto them, so as to gradually train them.

The best way I've found to train Infantry without them going into battle is to use the InternetContain behaviour. They basically hack a negative sum whilst in a specific building (not the InternetCenter, but similar). Of course, the hacking module allows the unit to gain experience, but in this case at a cost.

Thinking about it, you might be able to make an Infantry unit "enter" his mentor, but he won't actually climb inside him, he might stay visible next to him. Not sure how to make this work, but I believe it can be done. Then of course he could "hack" at the same time, thus gaining experience.

lol... they do a lot more than that, a whole lot. Training indigious forces is one of the roles of US Army Special Forces, but they're not limited to that by any means.

If you can give me a counterstrike(not condition zero or source) model of a Green Beret, I can have it converted into W3D but I won't be able to optimize and lower its polies.
