The hardest part is always the head, otherwise its just A LOT of cutting, pasting, rotating, resizing, and adding in shadows. The trick is to select all of the uniform parts you want 1 color, and do a colorize. However, before that, you've copied the face and pasted it over the background, retaining the original color there. Thus, the more individual "pieces" or, more appropriately, layers you have, the more realistic you can get. Also, try to find real pictures and use them, along with transparencies and detailed selecting. The shoulder boards, hat, inisgnia, patch, ribbons, and Iron Cross are all real pictures, just painstakingly applied.

I tried to make him as un-Nazi as possible. Love the uniforms, but hate what they stand for. Anyhow, Ill have to reinstall ZH, and ill set about creating new generals for anyone who needs 'em.

As usual, no problem. I enjoy doing this sort of thing, and its about the only thing I can do well for Generals, modeling and coding aside.

BTW, does anyone know of a better image hosting program than photobucket? I am really tired of its incompetence.
