| Well, its easy enough to add new tracks. Just put in your music as an Mp3 file (location = directory\data\audio\tracks) and go to Music.ini and add data for your track. But to get the game yo play it isn't as easy, unless you're okay with replaceing an old track. Thats controlled through the scripts. If you feel okay about replaceing an old track, just name you file the same thing as the one you wish to replace, and install it in the aforementioned folder.

| well, don't double post. New songs = Get your track, make sure its in mp3 format. Put it in (your geberals directory)\Data\Audio\Tracks Then go to Music.ini and add the data for your track. Its best to just replace an old track with your new one, otherwise you'll have to go to the scripts and do bunches of editing there. So just name your track the same as one of the old ones (like USA_07, if its for the US) and voila!

| how do you make movies with replays? If that is what you are supposed to use. |

| OOH I know this one (I think)! To make movies you need to use worldbuilder to create scripts for the map you want. For example - make certain units move places. The movies in missions that show actual units are on the map that you are about to play, but probably either offscreen or get deleted when the time comes to play the game. |

| AAAARGH!!! What is wrong with Data\INI\CommandSet.ini' (Line: 'CommandSet ABoss_AmericaBarracksCommandSet ') <--- that was the release crash info.I have checked that the unit exists in the americaboss.ini that I made, and had used the airforce gens barracks commandset to make that one but changed some parts. It looks like this: Code: CommandSet ABoss_AmericaBarracksCommandSet 1 = Command_ConstructAmericaInfantryRanger 2 = Command_ConstructAmericaInfantryMissileDefender 3 = ABoss_Command_ConstructAmericaInfantryColonelBurton 4 = Command_ConstructAmericaInfantryPathfinder 7 = Command_UpgradeAmericaRangerFlashBangGrenade 8 = Command_UpgradeAmericaRangerCaptureBuilding 13 = Command_SetRallyPoint 14 = Command_Sell End I had been getting some errors of other command sets in this folder (ABoss_AmericaDozerCommandSet and ABoss_AmericaCommandCenterCommandSet) which also do exist in the ini folder. I 'solved' these by cut pasting these commandsets to the bottom of my generals command sets. Have I missed out an important step in creating my new general? So far in the data/INI folder has in it playertemplate.ini Controlbarscheme.ini Commandset.ini a folder called objects, inside this is AmericaBoss.ini with the units i have given to my general. I have not added any new units, only copy pasted ones from other usa generals and changed them accordingly (eg prequisates, names of the units that i have used throughout). Please say these are not just random errors..... |
