from what he said, it sounds like another one of those annoying "anonymous crashes" but yeah, post the exact error message AND the code you edited, we'll take a look.

May I know if all these editing of ini.BIG files actually works in multiplayer online games?? I've done mine and it seems to work only when I play the comps. I can't join all other games in the game lobby and no one can join my created game as well, says ' different version'. Can anyone help???

If you want to play online with any edits still in your CnC install, then whoever your playing against has to have the same edits also.
all your files have to match who ever your playing against online.

tons of people have, by creating a mod and giving it up for download so that they can be played together, remember all players in an online game have to have the same files. Otherwise the game will automatically call the game a mismatch.

In order to add a new general to an existing side (namely a napalm general to china - i know its been done before but hey), Which files do I need to add to or create? For now I just want a 4th general with vanilla china but the redguard has a dragon tank weapon, I can add extra stuff later. Any help would be appreciated.

Look into PlayerTemplate.ini and then make an INI file for his/her objects, plus command sets etc.
