What is the highest amount of polys a model can have to use it in generals because i got sum Star Wars modles from a website and they are high quality and i cant use them because it closes my game and tells me there was and error!

There is no set limit for a single model, What matters his how many polys your hardware and the game engine was designed to handle. I hear some say that Generals/Zero Hour was written to handle 80,000 and some have said 100,000, I think its a little higher myself. Im talking about what objects are actually in view at a given time, and how many poly total.

the number of polys of that star wars model you brought into the game may be more that the game can handle. How many polys is this model.

that problem has come up with me before. Not sure what it means. But I'm prettey sure its nothing to do with the model. Still, lets let pestilence see this, he may know something I don't.

wow, if that error come up while in WB and then trying to place the object on the map in work then yeah i would say the objects it to large interms of polys. And it must be a lot of polys, I myself have created units in generals that were 30,000 polys, and the game would play, just really slow. In WB I could still view the object but I have a pretty strong system. Where did you download this model from?
