@Jonny boy: You have to go to ObjectCreatonList.ini and find The paradrop OCL, in there, you should easily be able to figure it out.

Which files do you need to edit in order to add an new general? Ive been experimenting for ages, but it always crashes on loading a game with the general in, even though at this stage he only has a superweapon gen command centre and a laser gen dozer (at least, thats what hes supposed to have...).
Also his name appears as MISSING:SIDE:FACTIONAMERICABOSSGENERAL or something, and on the loading screen, before it crashes with a serios error, there is no picture where i think there should be a vanilla usa logo, and the name appears as MISSING: AMERICABOSS.INI or something. Ive already edited playertemplate.ini and controlbarscheme.ini, where I mostly copied the vanilla usa stuff and changed the names to BossA_Americawhatever. Plz help me!:notworking:

No... that didnt work... Im not trying to enable the boss general to be playable, Im creating an entirely new general for the USA - a combination of the 3 other USA generals. I can add stuff and remove stuff from other gens, but not create a new one...

ps. this is for personal use only... so far anyway.

All the INI files are located in the INI.big file for Vanilla Generals, and INIZH.big for Zero Hour. you need a .big extractor to get at them
I prefer FinalBig but there are a few to choose from
you can get FinalBig at my website in the downloads section under Editing Tools.

This is commonly refered to as Shadow Leaks.
most common causes are double sided faces(when 2 paces are ovelapping each other but facing opposite direction)
or edges that connect more than one face.
one thing you can do to hlep locate the source of these shadow leaks is view the model in worldbuilder so you can see the model while its stationary and spin the view around it to make it easier to see where the shadow leak is coming from on you model.
