Why don't you just change the unit creation and rally points to around 50 meters away from the building? Put an arrow on the building (heh, ignore that) so people know which way around to place it.

Did the 50 meters thing, the problem is getting the AI to put the building the right way, which is what I'm working on (the AI I mean)

Doesn't setting the angle in the aidata file do it? I know it'll take some practice to actually get it the right way lol Don't know how degrees are measured on teh 2d landscape.

well name something with a good description and ill model it , if i get a reply tomorrow morning for sure atleast cuz i got a day off . ill ask my friend to skin it ( hes got talent ) maybe if i can get free time during exams i might make something else

Damn I hate living in the middle of nowhere, well nowhere and left a bit.

Since everyone else uses their (GROIN!) threads as chat rooms I figured I would too.

Those units (hahahaha, ah that never gets old) that I am/have (?) skinning-ed for you. Anyway, deleted the jps (I want to say it was an accident, but I think it was a Frodo-ian thing) so have to import the dds files (which is causing some hilariously bad texture corruption). Either way they're as good as they're going to get. Anything else you want me to do or can I go back to starring at my feet?

Well, finishing the PT skin would be nice, and I'm working on a simple model for a cargo ship, for one of the USA missions (may even make it buildable, as a seagoing supply gatherer) that will need a skin. You're lack of experience won't be a prob, since this skin will be very easy.

Well the breads gone off so I geuss there's no dinner tonight. To keep my 'mind' off starvation I rendered one of my home movies. Took roughly 20 seconds so I'm still relatively hungry, still:
home movie (no, the other kind) - 360k

Takes me seconds to download, however, for those of you on slower connections... you're not missing much.
