adding a new toolbar i want to replace the comand bars with my GDI and NOD and another one but i need to know what all the different files i need to edit are. can someone please tell me. i know for the mail view its s(a/n/u)commandbar.tga but how about the other files. |
Re: adding a new toolbar u want to replace the command bars in cnc generals? the file ur looking to edit is controlbarscheme.ini .upload the .tgs into the game, specify their names and dimentions in mappedimages folder and then in the controlbarscheme.ini file, just edit the lines that specify the .tga's name to the one u want. Re: adding a new toolbar NICE! but jsut one thing... theyres already a model of the momoth tank in generals, but i dont think its boned and all. its not used though, just one of the trillions of cool models that EA just plonked into the game for no reason. |

Re: adding a new toolbar There is nothing quite like doing your own mod, by yourself, to learn how to do things in modding. You have to find things out for yourself, I think thats a good thing. And no-one else helping means that you need to learn all the skills yourself. |

Re: adding a new toolbar there may be but im going more for an original C&C mod. as i dont think id be able to do the animations for the titans or wolverines. with mabey some of the defemses from tib sun. i really liked the orig so i think it will be sort of an inbetween time so i can include what tech of both games i want. |
